My training and curriculum writing abilities include using a unique combination of dynamic, motivational, and state of the art methodologies that stem from a fifteen year experience of teaching secondary English in Texas and learning experiences in higher education. I am dedicated to professional development and bring enthusiasm with research-based teaching strategies to my classes.
I have been working to broaden my teaching abilities through advanced studies in Digital Literacy, Reading, and ESL/ Bilingual Education by receiving one Master's of Education in Instructional Design and Technology in 2010 and a second in Reading Education recently completed in August 2012.
